Responsibilities:
– Safely operate a commercial vehicle to transport materials, plant & machinery to designated locations
– Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques
– Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
– Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage
– Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
– Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety, vehicle maintenance, and customer service
Qualifications:
– Valid driver’s license HGV CLASS 2 minimum with a clean driving record
– Minimum of 1 years of experience as a truck driver – Low loader transport experience preferred – Full Driver CPC required
– Ability to safely operate and maneuver a large commercial vehicle
– Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
– Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
